Eagle Vale teen shooting; inflation concerns persist; illegal tobacco raid | 7NEWS
The Reserve Bank of Australia has maintained the cash rate at 4.35%, warning that inflation remains stubbornly high and may only return to the target range of 2-3% by late next year.
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, are in police custody after an alleged shooting at a home in Eagle Vale, Campbelltown, with a third suspect still at large.
Australian Border Force has conducted coordinated raids on more than 100 Metro Petroleum service stations across Sydney, Victoria, the ACT, Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia as part of a major investigation into the alleged supply and distribution of illegal tobacco and vapes.
