Israel has destroyed Gaza City’s tallest building after warning displaced families to leave, as its offensive in the north continues. The strike, carried out on September 15, targeted the 20-storey Al-Ghefari Tower. The Israeli military said the building contained Hamas “terrorist infrastructure” and issued evacuation orders for residents and nearby tents before the attack. Footage posted by Quds News Network shows the tower collapsing after being hit. According to Anadolu, the building had been sheltering displaced people and previously housed media outlets, production companies, and commercial offices.
