‘Dragging heels’: UK public backs Starmer on Iran war stance
News Corp Correspondent Sophie Elsworth says the British public opposes any involvement in the US-led war against Iran, standing by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s decision.
“They’re trying to assist, even though they’ve really been dragging their heels with helping out the US in this war,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Australia.
“Polling shows decision-making by the Sir Keir Starmer government has been largely supported by the British public, who do not want the UK to get largely involved in this conflict in the Middle East.”
