Double earthquake disaster in the Philippines leaves at least seven dead

At least seven people have died when two earthquakes struck off the southern coast of the Philippines.

A 7.4 magnitude strike was recorded 20 kilometres away from the town of Manay.

A second 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck the same area approximately seven hours later.

The event triggered a tsunami warning for the Philippines and Indonesia, which was later lifted.
