Donald Trump rips into ‘totally crazy’ Democrats over government shutdown
US President Donald Trump has ripped into Democrats as “totally crazy” for continuing to keep the US government closed.
President Trump called on just a handful of Democrats to vote to open up the government again.
The shutdown will extend into next week, as the Senate remains without a deal to reopen the government.
Their next votes are expected on Monday, which will be day 27 of the shutdown.
US polls have also indicated that Democrats are not getting the blame for the government shutdown.
