Donald Trump imposes annual $150,000 fee for H-1B visa, rolls out $1.5 million ‘gold card’


US President Donald Trump is going to start charging highly skilled foreign workers $150,000 a year for their H-1B visa.

This could be a significant blow to the IT sector, which heavily relies on workers from India and China.

President Trump has also rolled out a “gold card” for those willing to pay $1.5 million to secure US residency.
