Donald Trump flames ‘fake news’ reporter over Epstein question
US President Donald Trump has lashed out at a reporter after they asked him about Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie’s comments on the Epstein investigation.
Massie, in an ABC interview, claimed the Trump administration’s new investigation may be a “smokescreen”.
Trump accused the person who asked the question of being a “terrible” reporter.
The president goes on to argue that the Epstein files are being used to “deflect” from the “tremendous” success of his administration.
Trump’s roasting of the reporter comes as the president recently ordered the Department of Justice to probe into Epstein’s relationship with Bill Clinton and other Democrats.
The president’s outburst comes after Democrats released emails from Epstein that referenced Trump.
Sky News host Andrew Bolt discussed the left media’s response to emails, saying they “jumped all over” them.
