Disgraced Andrew has ‘nothing to gain’ from US Congress testimony

Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater questions whether disgraced former Prince Andrew would testify before the US Congress.

“I don’t think there is anything to gain for him or the Royal Family in him going to address the US Congress,” Mr Slater told Sky News host James Macpherson.

“I just don’t see how this is going to end in anything other than Andrew continuing to kind of slink to the edges of public life and try to avoid this story and ride it out.

“I would be amazed even if Prince Andrew was frankly dumb enough to reopen this and try to clear his name in front of the US Congressmen and women.”
