The Northern Territory’s peak Aboriginal legal service has called out inequities and poor planning in the emergency response to widespread flooding in the Top End.
While disaster relief funding was announced for residents in Katherine earlier this week support for surrounding remote Aboriginal communities and outstations is yet to be declared.
