‘Did Women Ruin the Workplace?’: New York Times under fire for ‘regressive’ article

Sky News host Caleb Bond talks about a New York Times article about feminism coming under fire, requiring a name change.

“The New York Times released a podcast originally titled, ‘Did Women Ruin the Workplace?’, and it caused so much controversy online that during the week it was changed to ‘Did Liberal Feminism Ruin the Workplace?’” Mr Bond said.

“Many accused the newspaper of sexism and regressive thinking because … it centred around feminism and whether or not it had led to a weakening of the professional world.

“Over at the Sydney Morning Herald there, columnist Jacqueline Maley has hit back, saying the so-called feminisation of professional culture has actually made offices more civil and peaceful.”
