Democrats in ‘very bad position’ as they try to focus on ‘obscure’ issue

Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer thinks there are more important issues for the American people to worry about than the Democrats’ smear campaign against US President Donald Trump.

“The American people, I genuinely don’t think there are that many people that really go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning thinking about this,” Mr Hammer told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“Every day that the President is not fighting on that terrain, I think at this point is a day wasted.

“Democrats are in a very bad position of trying to focus on an issue of such obscure origins.”
