Two police officers are being praised for their quick, life-saving actions after pulling an unconscious man from a burning car in Franklin Township, New Jersey.

The dramatic rescue unfolded on 9 November, when a 26-year-old driver was left trapped in his vehicle after a crash. Although the incident occurred outside their jurisdiction, South Brunswick officers Thomas Sites and Yash Shroff were the closest units and reached the scene within minutes.
