Current scheme for international students to study in Australia a giant ‘scam’

Broadcaster Lucy Zelic says the current system for allowing international students into the country is “damaging” the universities on an “international scale”.

“This is effectively a scam,” Ms Zelic told News24 host Peta Credlin.

“You’ve got universities now who are overly reliant on these foreign students.

“Many academics are pointing rightly to the fact that this is actually hollowing out their integrity and it’s damaging them on an international scale.”
