Couple rescued from Cradle Mountain Overland Track sheltered in ‘freezing’ conditions | ABC NEWS
A man and a woman suffering mild hypothermia activated their emergency beacon on Wednesday night while on Tasmania’s Overland Track.
A rescue helicopter attempted to reach the pair but was hampered by the weather.
A ground search and rescue crew met up with the bushwalkers and walked them out of the park at about midday on Thursday.
