Coalition split ‘particularly bad’ for Nationals’ ‘long-term interests’


Shadow Finance Minister James Paterson claims the Coalition staying apart is not in the National Party’s long-term interest.

“The most important thing is that no doors are slammed shut,” Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia.

“It is particularly bad for the National Party… I don’t think it is in their long-term interests to stay outside the Coalition.”
