China’s warning over Taiwan’s presence at Pacific forum

Taiwan has hit back at what it calls “grey-zone tactics” after China warned there would be consequences over Taipei’s strong diplomatic presence at this year’s Pacific Islands Forum in Palau.

When asked by SBS about Taipei’s strong diplomatic presence at the talks, Beijing’s top Pacific diplomat said there were “serious concerns”.
