China condemns US sanctions on Iran | Deadly fire in Pakistan | CIA head visits Moscow
Iran’s major trading partner, China, has rejected the latest expanded US sanctions against Tehran labelling it “illegal” and “economic warfare.”
It comes as both Iran and the United States continue to jostle for control in the Strait of Hormuz.
More than a quarter of Iran’s trade is with China.
It’s the largest buyer of Iranian oil taking more than 80 percent of its seaborne crude exports.
Beijing is now leading the charge in denouncing the latest US sanctions.
