China and Russia pledge deeper cooperation shortly after Trump’s visit to the region
China’s President Xi Jinping has described relations with Russia during a two-day visit to China by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
The two leaders issued a joint statement reaffirming their close ties and support for a ‘multipolar world’.
They also outlined plans for expanded cooperation in several areas, including artificial intelligence and wildlife conservation, including the protection of rare species.
