Canterbury-Bankstown Council has become the first Sydney council to ban AI smart glasses at public swimming pools. The decision addresses privacy concerns that the technology could be used to secretly record swimmers and children. The glasses, which appear identical to ordinary eyewear, are now prohibited across the council’s aquatic facilities.
