‘Brutal repression’: Venezuela population put ‘under siege’ by government
Former Venezuela hostage Jorge Toledo claims the Venezuela population has been put “under siege” by their government.
“As soon as yesterday morning, the government sent to the streets all the reparation forces, the military, the police, the special services,” Mr Toledo told Sky News Australia.
“If somebody goes to the street to protest against Maduro or against the government, is going to be taken to jail.”
