Britons urged to step up emergency preparedness
From wars in Ukraine and the Middle East to cyber threats and extreme weather, Britain is confronting an escalating permacrisis — multiple threats unfolding simultaneously. However, UK government research found that only 13 per cent of the population feels well prepared for a major emergency.
The British government is urging UK citizens to stockpile water, non-perishable food, medications, and other essentials as part of its Be Ready campaign.
