Bondi’s Sculpture by the Sea will go ahead in 2025 | ABC NEWS
Bondi’s annual coastal art exhibition, Sculpture by the Sea, will go ahead this year after a corporate donor was found to make up a funding shortfall of $200,000.
The exhibition was threatened with cancellation after the organisers failed to secure government funding.
Creative Australia says that it provides a range of avenues for investment, including both multi-year and arts projects investment.
Earlier in the week, the event’s organisers appealed to the public for donations. The event consists of around 100 sculptures installed along the cliff walk between Bondi and Tamarama in Sydney’s east.
