‘Bombing starts again’: Trump launches ‘Project Freedom’ to escort ships out of Hormuz

The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan discusses US President Donald Trump’s announcement, ‘Project Freedom,’ a military-led operation to escort international ships out of the Strait of Hormuz.

“Presumably, if the Iranians succeed in attacking either a cargo ship or an American naval vessel, that means the bombing starts again,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Steve Price.

“But, both Trump and the Iranians tend to bluff a good deal, so we’re going to be on tenterhooks to see what happens.”
