Australians living with blindness and impaired vision are advocating for improved air travel accessibility through a new campaign by Guide Dogs Australia. The initiative aims to make booking flights, navigating terminals, boarding planes and collecting luggage easier for passengers with visual impairments. Research shows 82 per cent of blind or vision impaired travellers experience challenges and barriers when travelling with guide dogs and canes, particularly at airports.
