Banks pass on RBA rate rise | Australian dollar hits 4 year high
Each of the big four banks have now confirmed they’ll pass on the RBA’s 25 basis point rate rise from the 15th May.
Risk appetite returned to global markets sending the Australian sharemarket rallying and the Australian dollar to a fresh 4 hear high against the US.
ABS data showed living costs have risen the most for Age pensioners as many struggle with higher electricity costs.
