‘Australians are doing it tough’: Inflation rate rises to 3.8 per cent

Treasurer Jim Chalmers sympathises with Australians as Inflation rates rise to 3.8 per cent.

“A lot of Australians are still doing it tough even though we’ve made all of this progress in the economy together,” Mr Chalmers said.

“We understand that these cost-of-living pressures are hanging around.”
