Australian taxpayers billed almost half a million for a food truck in New York
Sky News host Caleb Bond criticises Tourism Australia for spending nearly $474,000 on a promotional campaign featuring a rebranded sausage in bread in New York City.
“Tourism Australia has billed taxpayers almost half a million dollars to drive a sausage sizzle around New York for four days,” Mr Bond said.
“They rebranded the humble sausage in bread as a ‘G’day dog’.
“Value for money?”
