Auction clearance rate drops to 60.2 per cent
REA Group Senior Economist Angus Moore says there is still “pretty solid growth” in house prices across Australia despite the auction clearance rate dropping to 60.2 per cent.
“We’re still seeing pretty solid growth in home prices, really right, around the country at the moment,” Mr Moore told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“Prices over the past year are up about 7.5 per cent nationally.
“We are seeing pretty consistent solid growth in Sydney and Melbourne.”
