Another interest rate rise will be ‘utterly unjustifiable’ as Australian families hurt

Former Labor minister Stephen Conroy says another predicted interest rate rise “will be utterly unjustified by the Reserve Bank”.

“Michele Bullock seems to be of the view that this is the recession that we have to have,” Mr Conroy said.

“She’s happy for 200,000 Australians to end up on the unemployment queue.”
