Ann Widdecombe’s tragic murder has ‘shaken people to the core’
Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says Ann Widecombe’s murder has “shaken people to the core”.
“I can tell you it’s really, really shaken, a lot of British media,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“A lot of studios are on high alert.
“I know many broadcasters that are concerned about going into the studio.
“It’s really shaken people to the core.
“This normalisation that someone’s political views is basically a carte blanche to murder them, even if they are a 78-year-old woman.
“It really has shaken the country, because this is not the first time we’ve seen politically motivated murders.”
