Amazon shares surge to ‘record highs’ following $38 billion OpenAI deal
CommSec’s Ryan Felsman analyses how Amazon shares rose to “record highs” following the company’s multibillion-dollar deal with OpenAI.
“Amazon shares up four per cent to a record high after the online retail giant signed a multiyear 38 billion US dollar deal with OpenAI,” Mr Felsman told Sky News Australia.
OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, will now use Amazon’s cloud infrastructure to operate its artificial intelligence products.
