Alleged thief charged after stealing from Bondi attack victim

A man has been charged with stealing camera equipment from retired police officer and photographer Peter Meagher after he was killed in the Bondi Beach attack.

Police say that in the aftermath of the December 14 massacre, detectives noticed Mr Meagher’s camera equipment had been stolen.

Officers searched a Marayong home on Wednesday, where they arrested a 35-year-old man who police say was also a photographer at the Hannukah event.
