Albania’s Opposition has sparked chaos in its parliament by lighting flares and clashing with the government over recent protest policing.

Party members blocked access to the podium as the chamber attempted to vote on a law regarding its Central Bank.

Leaders demanded action against a perceived heavy-handed response to student-led demonstrations in recent weeks.

Photos of protesters injured by rubber bullets were also held up.
