Albanese’s desperate attempt to pull young voters away from One Nation

Sky News host Rita Panahi argues Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s expansion of paid university placements is a last-ditch attempt to win back young voters drifting towards One Nation.

“Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has unveiled his plan to fight back against One Nation,” Ms Panahi said.

“In a bid to win over young voters, Anthony Albanese has announced that Labor will expand its paid prac placement to cover Australians studying degrees like clinical psychology, physiotherapy, paramedicine and pharmacy from July 1 next year.

“You could argue that it is working because young Australians do typically lean left compared to the rest of the electorate.”
