Albanese raises South China Sea concerns with Chinese premier
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese raised concerns with Chinese Premier Li Qiang over a recent South China Sea incident, after a Chinese military aircraft released flares near an Australian maritime patrol plane last week.
“I’m accountable for what I say and I made the position directly clear that this was an incident of concern for Australia,” Albanese told reporters.
