Albanese government vows to ‘stop wasting money’ on unused defence sites

Defence Minister Richard Marles announced the “biggest review” of Australia’s defence estate in history.

Mr Marles said much of the land used by defence is now “beyond its useful life”.

“We will stop wasting money on properties that we don’t need.”
