Albanese Government unleashes $99m crackdown on social media companies | 9 News Australia
Social media companies are now facing fines of just under $100-million dollars if they let children under 16 use their apps.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the changes come as tech giants fail to properly enforce the landmark social media age ban.
The crackdown will also see the e-Safety Commissioner granted stronger powers.
