Albanese government slammed for ISIS bride ‘secrecy’
Acting Shadow Home Affairs Minister James Paterson claims the “secrecy” surrounding the return of ISIS brides is “politically convenient” for the Albanese government.
Mr Paterson told Sky News Australia that the details of Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke’s “two secret meetings” with a charity advocating for their return to Australia have not been disclosed.
“We are none the wiser as to whether the Minister for Home Affairs, Tony Burke, gave Save The Children a wink and a nod,” he said.
