Albanese accused of hiding Japan’s PM in a ‘broom cupboard’ to appease China
Former Liberal MP Nicolle Flint accuses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of hiding Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in a “broom cupboard” during her visit to Australia.
“They call her the ‘Iron Lady’ because she is standing up to China as she should for her country,” Ms Flint told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Here we have what should be celebrated, the very first female prime minister of Japan, popularly elected.
“Labor hides her in a broom cupboard because they’re still appeasing China as they always will.”
