Ageing rockstars should be ‘updating next of kin’ not struggling on stage

News24 host James Macpherson says ageing music icons like Barry Manilow and Rod Stewart should not be on stage.

Mr Macpherson said, “[They should be] updating next of kin”.

“Pop stars belong to us … remind us of who we were.

“Rockstars should hang up the microphone at sixty, no exceptions.”
