‘A basket case’: Jacinta Allan blasted for ‘ignoring voters’ over Indigenous treaty bill
Indigenous leader Warren Mundine criticises the Victorian government for “ignoring” voters after the state passed its Indigenous treaty bill.
“Even if you are a treaty supporter, it doesn’t recognise Aboriginal culture, it doesn’t recognise traditional owners, and it’s just another body that the Labor Party has set up,” Mr Mundine told Sky News host Steve Price.
“I’m not surprised that the Jacinta Allan government has ignored that; they’ve been ignoring the economy for a long time, and you can see the state is just a basket case.”
