A 12-year-old boy has been denied bail over an alleged attack on a 60-year-old good Samaritan in Sunshine, Melbourne. The victim intervened to help a fellow shopkeeper confronted by a group of young thieves and was repeatedly punched before falling and hitting his head, sustaining what the court has described as unsurvivable injuries. Five children, with the youngest being 12 years old, have been charged over the alleged violence.
