Albanese gets a standing ovation at UK Labour conference

News Corp Europe Correspondent and Sky News Contributor Sophie Elsworth details Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s speech at the UK Labour conference.

Mr Albanese addressed the UK Labour Party and drew parallels between the UK and Australia.

“He gave this speech about the importance of democracy and also the importance of seeking not to divide,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.

“He spoke fondly of Keir Starmer, and he also spoke of the success that he had at the last election.

“They gave him a standing ovation.”
