‘Eye for an eye’: Iran threatens powerful response to any US attack

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi took to X to send a warning to the United States as the conflict escalates in the Middle East.

“Our defence doctrine is clear: eye for an eye,” Mr Araghchi said.

“Any aggression against Iran, including our infrastructure, will compel a powerful and decisive response.

“Those who contribute to such aggression, whatever the kind of support, will also be considered as legitimate targets.”
