Newly named trapdoor spider honours the connection between language, culture and Country
A newly identified trapdoor spider has been found in Western Australia.
The species, called Idiosoma ganbarrga, was first discovered at Karara Rangeland Park.
It’s the focus of a joint effort between Traditional Owners and scientists to better understand and protect one of the country’s most elusive desert creatures.
