US military launches another round of strikes against dozens of Iranian targets

US Central Command said the attacks were aimed at “degrading” Iran’s ability to hit commercial vessels using the Strait of Hormuz.

However, a statement from the Persian Gulf Strait Authority confirming that the shipping corridor remains closed was read out on Iranian television.
