Massive rise in grown kids living with parents amid housing crisis

Former Liberal senator Hollie Hughes discusses the dilemma parents face when their kids stay at home into adulthood.

“We’re seeing more and more grown-up kids are staying in the family home,” Ms Hughes said.

“We know it’s expensive to rent, it’s expensive to buy, so a lot of kids are staying for longer in the home of mum and dad with their own bedroom and their laundry done.”
