‘Fantasy diplomacy’: Palestinian state recognition by Albanese is ‘complete folly’
Former prime minister Scott Morrison discusses the recent recognition of a Palestinian state by Anthony Albanese.
“It’s fantasy diplomacy, this is appeasing various interests in domestic constituencies, and more broadly, I have no doubt about the genuine intent of wanting to end the suffering in the Middle East,” Mr Morrison told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“This doesn’t achieve that; it’s a cul-de-sac.
“It doesn’t actually advance the sort of things that need to be addressed.”
