Iraqi man accused of Ivanka Trump assassination plot pleads not guilty to eight charges
An Iraqi man linked to one of Iran’s terror proxy groups is accused of planning nearly 20 terror attacks, including a plot to target Ivanka Trump.
Mohammad al-Saadi has pleaded not guilty to eight charges in court, one of which was conspiring to provide material support to two foreign terrorist organisations, including the IRGC.
Prosecutors say he wanted to attack Jewish centres in Los Angeles and bomb a synagogue in New York.
Sources have also told the New York Post he planned on assassinating US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka as retribution for the death of an Iranian military official.
