Stem cell study gives premature babies a fighting chance

Researchers in Melbourne are trialling an innovative therapy for treating brain injuries in babies, who are born prematurely.

The study led by Monash University and the Monash Children’s Hospital, is investigating whether donated stem cells can help improve the long-term outcomes among vulnerable patients.
